Thanks to Circulon unique and patented “hi-low” grooves non-stick system, even if the high ridges naturally wear away there will be sufficient non-stick remaining in the low areas to ensure easy food release.
It is this grooved interior which enables us to offer a lifetime guarantee on Circulon pans, but it is important that the grooves are kept free of food deposits. For this reason we stress in the use and care instructions the need to clean the item thoroughly after each use. Whilst wiping may leave a pan looking clean it will also leave behind food deposits. After a period of time, especially if the heat being used is too high, these deposits will eventually carbonise and form a layer which covers the non-stick coating, preventing it from working effectively.
In the Use and Care instructions, we also stress that due to our high quality materials and the intense testing during the product development process, this range seldom requires the use of high heat settings. Usually once the required cooking temperature has been reached, the heat level can be turned down to between low and medium. Our Circulon pans not only cook 20% faster but also evenly so even with a low and medium setting you can be assured you will get an exceptional cooking performance every time. Not to mention, use of a medium heat will prolong the life and appearance of your Circulon cookware.
Cleaning is also very important to make sure you pan looks impeccable for longer. To clean your cookware, we recommend allowing the pan to cool first, and then using soapy water you can clean around the pan in a circular motion using a brush or nylon sponge. Because the superior quality of the non-stick, cleaning is effortless and there won’t be the need to use any abrasive pads which could really deteriorate and damage the interior of the pan in the long run.
If deposits have been allowed to build up to an excessive level they may be removed by boiling water and biological soap powder in the pan for about 30 minutes.
GREAT CARE MUST BE TAKEN NOT TO SPLASH THE OUTSIDE OF THE PAN AS IT CAN CAUSE PERMANENT MARKING*. IF ANY OF THE WASHING POWDER/WATER MIX SPLASHES ON THE EXTERIOR, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY.
Please note this is not normal cleaning procedure. It should only be used if the food deposits have been allowed to build up to an excessive level and results may vary.
